It was a clear March Saturday, 6 guys gathered to make a trip to Lazarus Island. The objective : to eat a traditionally Singaporean breakfast on the island. So we had Joo Chiat Bar Chor Mee, Tiong Bahru Pau, Siew Mai and Lor Mai Kai, homemade sandwiches, Kopi from Tiong Bahru, Teo Chew Kuey from Tiong Bahru and tiger beer from 7-11.

We departed from One Degree 15 at 7am sharp and landed on the island at 7:15am.

Breakfast was a quick affair and 2 of the boys went off fishing while the rest of us took a dip in the bay.

The sand felt soft under our feet. After a short swim, we decided to go back to the jetty for another dip and some drinks.

We spent more time chit chatting and sun tanning on the jettty and ended on a high with an agreement that we will do this again. Next time, with more bait and beer!
